Pronouns 1

We can use pronouns in place of proper nouns (places and people’s names) and common nouns (things).

We replace boy’s names (proper nouns) with he and girl’s names (proper nouns) with she. If we want to write about more than one person or thing we use they. Things (common nouns) are replaced with it.

Can you rewrite these sentences using the correct pronouns instead of nouns?

1) James [, He, She, It, They] went to the park.

2) The computer [, He, She, It, They] is brand new.
