Parachute Activities

Rhyming Names

To help players remember the names of all the people in the group, they could introduce themselves using a rhyming sentence.

They sit round the edge of the parachute. When everyone has had time to think up a rhyme for their name, the leader asks one player to say their rhyme.

“I’m Sam and I’m sweet like jam.”

Then the next player says their rhyming name “I’m Joyce with a great voice.”

“I’m a thrill and my name is Will”.

If the players are up to it, this could go on with the names being linked together.

“Will had a thrill, using Sam’s jam or hearing Joyce’s voice, what a choice.”
