Parachute Activities

What’s in the Bag?

Well before trying to use this game, ask every player to bring in something which is special to them. Ask them to wrap it up, or put it in a sealed bag before bringing it, so that no one else has seen it.

Put all these objects in a box and place it in the middle of the parachute. Everyone sits round the edge of the parachute.

The players then take it in turns to sit in the middle by the box. They then unwrap one of the objects (not their own) and describe it to the group.

They say something like: “This is a vase with the word Blackpool on it. It is blue with white flowers on it.”

Everyone then tries to guess who is the owner. Whether they succeed or not, the owner comes to the middle and explains why thy article is special to them.

That person then takes the middle position and the game goes on until everyone’s article has been uncovered.
