Parachute Activities

Hot Spots

Use the parachute open and flat on the ground. Divide the players into equal groups.

Each player has a bean bag.

Place paper plates randomly over the parachute.

These are the hit spots and the players only score for their team if a bean bag lands on a plate.

Half on – half off – 20 points.

Fully on – 50 points.

The game ends when all the players have thrown their bags and the scores are added up.

The paper plates can be replaced by cut out shapes, square, triangle etc., each of which carries a different score.

Every shape must be landed on for a team to complete the task.

This could be part of cooperative Olympics, where lots of challenges are set up around the room, which the teams have to complete to finish the course.
