1. @school Competition Game Rules

In our competitions, we ask for your full name, age and email address but we only need it to send you your prize if you happen to be the lucky winner. Only @school has access to your personal details and we will never pass them on to anyone else without your permission.

  1. Entrants must provide the following details when entering competitions: name, postcode, email address and age. Missing information will make a player’s record void for the competition.
  2. A person may enter their name into the league table as many times as they like.
  3. Only entries used within the competition section will be accepted.
  4. The competition is open to UK residents only, under the age of 12. Overseas players do not qualify.
  5. You must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before entering.
  6. Winners will be judged by the highest score in the league tables for each of the age groups of key stage 1, lower key stage2 and upper key stage 2.
  7. The competition winners will be contacted by @school. Only the winners will be contacted personally. School details will be asked for and prizes will be given out through the school.
  8. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
  9. There will be no cash alternatives.
  10. @school does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  11. Players must supply full details as required above, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
  12. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of @school or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.
  13. @school's decision is final in every situation including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. @school reserve the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
  15. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
  16. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  17. This competition is a game promoted by @school.
  18. We will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation without your permission except for the purposes of running the competition which you have entered.
  19. @school's decision as to the winner is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
  20. @school reserves the right to run the game competition when ever it chooses.

Use of the @school game requires initial registration by the participant when their name is entered into the league table. Persons under 18 who wish to register are asked to have a parent or legal guardian do so for them.

We collect and maintain the name, age, postcode and email address of children who register. Parent/guardians can ask to have information deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of this information.

3. Disclosure of Information

We reserve the right to use or disclose any information without notice or consent as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request; to conduct investigations of consumer complaints or possible breaches of law; to protect the integrity of our site and our property; to protect the safety of our users or others and in order to co-operate in any legal investigation.

In the event that a game is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, @school reserves the right to discontinue or modify that game, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, @school shall have no liability to any players who are disqualified due to such an action. For the avoidance of doubt @school accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused. @school reserves the right to halt the game at any time due to situations beyond its control such as strikes, acts of God, etc.

By submitting your registration you are confirming that you have read the competition rules and waiver in their entirety, understand them, and agree to comply with their contents.

4. Internet

If for any reason the internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of @school, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the game, @school reserves the right at their discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the game.

@school assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.

@school is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this game.


@school is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected online entries, for incorrect or incomplete entry information, whether caused by a participant, equipment or technical malfunction or by any other human error.

In the event of a dispute, the authorised account holder of an email address will be responsible for any actions attributable to that email address. For the purposes of this clause, "authorised account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet service provider or other organisation (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

5. The odds of winning

The odds of winning depend upon the highest score whilst playing the game and then adding this score to the league table for your age group. @school reserves the right to run the competition at certain periods when it chooses. When the competition is running the winner will be the person with the highest score in the league table for a particular age group i.e. key stage 1, lower key stage 2 and upper key stage 2. The winner will be announced monthly and the winner will hear directly from @school.

The game and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright © of the respective owners. Copying or unauthorised use of any copyrighted material or trademarks without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

7. General Conditions

Participants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of @school which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the game. Any participant who does not comply with these official rules will be disqualified.
The operation of the game and interpretation of these rules is governed by the laws of England and Wales. All applicable international, federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. The game is void where prohibited by law.
