This activity will allow children to practice their knowledge of division with remainders.

Division with Remainders

If 13 apples are shared equally among 3 baskets.
There would be 4 apples in each basket and 1 apple left over.
So that is 13 divided by 3 is 4 remainder 1. 13 ÷ 3 = 4 r 1

Work out the answers to these division sums.

17 ÷ 3 =    11 ÷ 5 =
19 ÷ 10 =    25 ÷ 3 =
23 ÷ 4 =    13 ÷ 2 =
18 ÷ 5 =    21 ÷ 4 =
