Get the children to lift and lower the parachute until there is enough air coming into the parachute. Then when the parachute is high like a mushroom get the children to snap it down and knee on the outside rim quickly to trap in the air.

The mountain will then be formed and one or two children can have a go at climbing the mountain by moving slowly into the middle.

The more children around the edge the more solid the mountain.

Obviously children need to be reminded about safety when climbing and that the mountain will deflate. They also need to be careful about meeting other climbers!
