To 'Mushroom' the parachute everyone must stand evenly around the edge holding on with both hands.

Someone shouts out "Down" and everyone crouches down so that the parachute is on the ground. Someone then shouts "One , Two , Three and Mushroom" and everyone stands up raising the parachute up in the air by everyone lifting their hands stretched high above their heads. The parachute will then be filled with air and a Mushroom shape appears.

Everyone could chant numbers when lifting and lowering the parachute so that everyone is together.

The more you lift and lower the better the Mushroom shape and more air being trapped inside.

If you are outside you could lift and lower the parachute and at an agreed time everyone can let go of the parachute and watch it fly off - Warning don't try this on a windy day!
