The children hold the edge of the parachute at waist level.

The teacher gives an instruction like, “If you are holding a red section, skip four times”. The parachute is mushroomed and the children concerned cross under the parachute carrying out the instruction as they go.

The game continues with different instructions, so that each child has at least one go.
