The parachute lies flat on the ground.

The players lie on their stomachs leaning on their elbows. They hold hands with their neighbours and all face the centre hole.

They may have to shuffle forward so that everyone can do this.

One player starts by passing a “HA!” to the person on their left at the same time as squeezing their hand.

The player who has received the “HA!” and the hand squeeze, passes them on to the person on their left, and so on round the parachute.

When the HA! HA!’s and squeezes arrive back at the beginning they are sent off again in both directions.

The leader can make it more complicated by starting more HA’s from different positions in the circle.
