This is played with the parachute lying flat on the ground. The players stand around the outer edge.

Place a large ball on the centre of the parachute and tell the players that they must all touch the ball.

Do not tell them how to do this. Let them work it out for themselves.

Some of them will need to lie down like the spokes of a wheel and hold the ball up so that they others can stand between them and lean over to get a finger onto the ball.

When they have mastered this, send them back to the edge. Replace the ball with a smaller one, and so on. What is the smallest object that they can all touch?

Try the same game without touching each other.
