Classroom Key Stage 2 - History

This section is mainly split into Local History, British History, European History, and World History. The general history area covers British Prime Ministers, Famous British Battles, Kings and Queens, activities looking at the history of bridges, cars, cooking, flying, farming, cathedrals, and computers. There is also information about architecture, famous people, chronology, explorers, families, technology and transport and much more.

Within all the periods in history they all have similar sub-sections looking at Architecture, events, everyday life, famous men and women, map, plans, and places, technology and transport, trade and industry, religion and mythology and other more specific areas. The British history looks closely at the Anglo Saxons, Britain Since 1930 including the effects of world war two, The Romans, the Tudors, the Vikings, and The Victorians. The European history concentrates on Ancient Greece and the world history concentrates on Ancient Egypt, Ancient Sumer, the Assyrian Empire, the Indus Valley, the Maya, Benin, and the Aztecs. The @school activities are in an interactive, online test, or printable format, bringing a different dynamic to the subject.
